Hey, I’m James Davidson, but everyone calls me JD. I’m your go-to source for everything NFTs, Web3 culture, and crypto market dynamics. I studied Digital Media and Business at New York University and started my career as a marketing consultant for tech startups in Brooklyn.
I fell down the crypto rabbit hole in 2017 during the ICO boom and have been obsessed ever since. I bought my first NFT in early 2021 and immediately recognized that digital ownership would revolutionize art, gaming, and entertainment. Since then, I’ve covered the rise of profile picture projects, the evolution of NFT marketplaces, and the intersection of crypto with gaming and the metaverse.
My writing combines market analysis with cultural commentary—I believe understanding crypto markets requires understanding the communities and narratives that drive them. I’ve interviewed artists who’ve made millions from NFT drops, covered major crypto market cycles, and analyzed everything from meme coins to blue-chip NFT collections. My work has appeared in CryptoSlate, NFT Now, and various Web3-focused publications.
I’m also deeply involved in the NFT collector community and regularly attend Art Basel Miami, NFT NYC, and other major crypto events. When I’m not writing or trading, I’m exploring new blockchain games, collecting digital art, or sharing alpha with my community on Twitter.
